Welcome back, post-session, to our monthly newsletter. Since the end of the session spring has sprung, the cherry blossoms have come and gone on the Capitol grounds and we have been hard at work preparing for the upcoming interim meetings.

Well, that’s a wrap! The Legislature adjourned sine die late Friday night. It has been a busy 45 days and we’re looking forward to some much-needed rest.

Another week has come and gone and we’ve been busy at work to ensure our legislation is passed and our appropriations are funded.

Week five has come to an end and we are looking forward to the long weekend. With only two weeks left of the session, the pace has really picked up. Lawmakers are spending more time on the floor, sometimes into the evening. We’re tracking several issues closely and will continue working hard to represent our clients.

We’ve officially hit the halfway mark of the session! With appropriations subcommittees wrapping up, the Senate and House will now focus on standing committee meetings and spend more time debating bills on the floor.

Another week is in the books. We are almost half way through the session and things are beginning to pick up. We’re following many important pieces of legislation and working hard to represent you and your needs.
